DESCRIPTION:The HIgh School Youth Service is dedicated to raising the next 
 generation of Orthodox young men and women.  Youth are taught deeper conc
 epts of the faith that affect their day to day lives through spiritual act
 ivities\, lessons and retreats. A special emphasis is put on teaching thro
 ugh discipleship. Youth servants are dedicated to living out the Orthodox 
 Faith as an example for the youth. Youth are encouraged to actively choose
  their faith despite social pressures. Special attention is given weekly t
 o allow the youth to develop fellowship and community to overcome the soci
 al pressures they face in school and media. Parent participation is especi
 ally essential at this age group.
