What is Midnight Praise?
Midnight Praise, also known as Tasbeha, is a beautiful, ancient service of Coptic Orthodox hymns and worship offered during the quiet hours of the night. It is a time to lift our voices in praise, meditate on the eternal truths of the faith, and prepare our hearts to meet Christ in the Divine Liturgy.
Rooted in monastic tradition, the Midnight Praise is filled with Psalms, Doxologies, Theotokia (praises to the Theotokos), and Antiphonarium hymns, all sung in a deeply spiritual, melodic style that reflects the joy and mystery of heaven.
