A weekly gathering to deepen the faith, fellowship, and spirit of service within our church family. Through lectures, open discussions, Q&A sessions, and social activities, we grow closer to Christ and one another—learning from the saints and supporting one another in our spiritual journey.

We walk in the footsteps of our patron saints, St. Abraam of Fayoum and St. Verena, whose lives reflect the heart of Christian ministry:

St. Abraam of Fayoum

Feast Day: June 10

St. Abraam, Bishop of Fayoum and Giza, is remembered as the “Friend of the Poor” for his radical generosity and unwavering compassion. As bishop, he transformed his diocese into a refuge for the needy—giving freely, healing the sick, and living with profound humility. Even after his passing, many miracles have been recorded through his intercession, drawing pilgrims from across Egypt to his tomb. His legacy lives on as a model of true Christian charity and servant leadership.

Did You Know?

He once gave away all the church’s furnishings—keeping only the altar—to serve the poor, trusting that God would provide. And He did.

St. Verena

Feast Day: October 28

St. Verena traveled from Egypt to Switzerland to support the Theban Legion and chose a life of quiet service among the poor and sick. Known for her kindness, she taught hygiene, healed the sick, and ministered to the marginalized with compassion. Her humble presence left a lasting impact on both the Church and the society around her, and she is venerated in both the Coptic and Roman traditions.

She’s often depicted with a jug and comb, symbolizing her care for the sick and her efforts to teach health and dignity to young women.
