St. Moses the Strong

Feast Day: 13 Baramhat (March 22)

St. Moses began as a feared gang leader, but after encountering Christ, he became one of the greatest monastic fathers of the desert. His deep repentance, humility, and spiritual wisdom drew many to discipleship. He led over 500 monks and accepted martyrdom peacefully, refusing to retaliate when enemies attacked his monastery.

Did You Know?

When warned of an attack, he chose not to defend himself but to remain in peace, saying, “He who lives by the sword shall die by the sword.”
